BOYHOOD

In 2016, Boyhood founder and designer Jakob Burgsø left his job as a freelance graphic designer. He had a vision. When Jakob was a little boy, he spent a lot of time in his father's workshop. His father taught him basic skills and woodworking. This joint work awakened in the young boy a love for wooden, hand-processed products. He wanted to create something that would live. Jakob fell in love with the idea of creating with his bare hands. He created by telling stories that made you smile and recalling childhood memories that he shared with his father, family and friends.

Using his father's foundational skills, his creative mindset, and his newfound skill set, Jakob quickly learned that creating leads to the desire to create more. In this way, over the years, faithful to his vision, he has created amazing wooden sculptures that have been loved by customers from all over the world.
